My First Blog......

I have had this blog for quite a while yet I have never done anything with it, it has been one of those want to do things that I never can seem to motivate myself to do or I feel like I couldn't say anything that anyone would be interested in or get something out of. However I now long to do this for myself not just for those who may or may not want to know what is going on in my life. I am longing to live life in a much fuller way and grow stronger in the Lord and I want to see how I progress in my journey. I am going to try doing posts at least once a week if not more.

Blog posts will be about anything from being a Christian wife and mom to anything I feel led to share about how I am growing in the Lord. While I said I want to do this blog for myself, I also aim to make these posts for my friends and family especially for my family that lives out of state, like my dad and step mom!


So here is the first thing I would like to share:

On September 14, 2009, Parker, who is now 4, will be starting preschool. He will be going Monday thru Thursday from 9:15 to 1:30. What an exciting day that will be but its also bittersweet because it tells me he is growing up and with growing up comes even more challenges as a parent but I look forward to these challenges after all I have always known that I wanted to be a mother and what a privilege it is to know that I get to change the world one person at a time with my own children! Meanwhile while Parker is in school, I will still continue to be a stay at home mom to Katelyn, who will be 3 on November 13, 2009.

Okay so here comes the end to my first post, I mean it's a start, right??? I mean I gotta start somewhere! I think especially when Parker starts preschool I will have plenty to share! Thanks for reading and may God bless each and everyone of you!
